Treebo Hotels Racks Up Rs 112 crore in round led by Bertelsmann India Investments
reebo Hotels, which qualifies itself as a tech-backed budget hotel brand, has roped in Bertelsmann India Investments, the German media group’s investment arm, in a Rs 112 crore financing round as it fights its well-heeled competitors Oyo Rooms and online travel aggregators like Makemytrip, Yatra, and the Ibibo group.
Bertelsmann Invests in Indian Startup Treebo
The international media, services and education company Bertelsmann is leading a Series B round of financing for Treebo, an Indian branded managed marketplace for budget hotels. Existing investors SAIF Partners and Matrix Partners are also participating in this fundraise.
